Apply It To My Situation
You bought the guide. You read it twice. The words are close, closer than anything else you have found.
But your situation has a wrinkle the guide does not quite cover. A sibling who does not follow the script. A boss who will read it as something it is not. A parent whose first response is never the one the examples walk through.
So the guide sits there, right, but not quite usable yet, and you are back to rehearsing the conversation alone in your head, still balancing work and aging parents without the one piece of language that is actually yours. The gap is not what you know. It is what you can actually say to this specific person without it costing you at work.
